About
Sand Hill Shaman takes its name from the the guides of various cultures who bridged the spiritual and human worlds to improve the lot of men. Shamen act as interpreters of the invisible forces that pervade every aspect of daily living.
Etymologists believe the term “shaman” comes from the Northern Asia dialect of Turkic Tungus and literally means “he who knows.” The North Asians may have taken the term from the Chinese “sha men,” which means “Buddhist monk.”
The shamanistic tradition is global. Nearly every culture has had the concept of spirit mediators at some point in its past. These men and women are called on to perform miracles, heal the sick, change the weather and translate the ethereal.
The goal of Sand Hill Shaman is much less ambitious. We seek only to provide information about venture capital firms in an easily accessible and affordable format. Let us be your guide to this esoteric world.
